Charge+ and SKS Group Launch Closest DC Charger to the Singapore-Johor Bahru Causeway at Capri by Fraser, Johor Bahru

Johor Bahru, 28 November 2025 – Charge+, a leading EV charging provider in Southeast Asia, has officially launched its first DC fast charging station in Johor Bahru, at Capri by Fraser, in partnership with SKS Group. The new 60kW DC charger marks another significant milestone in Charge+’s expansion across the Causeway and serves as the first of five strategic locations planned with SKS Group in the state of Johor under this collaboration.

Situated in the heart of the city, Capri by Fraser is a modern hotel residence located minutes from key attractions such as Johor Bahru City Square and the CIQ checkpoint. With its prime urban location, high Singaporean visitor traffic, and proximity to major commercial zones, Capri by Fraser offers an ideal charging destination for both Malaysian EV drivers and Singaporean travellers entering Johor.

The hotel is located just 2 minutes away from the Johor Bahru Checkpoint, making it the closest charging stop for cross-border electric vehicle (EV) users. Guests can now enjoy convenient and reliable charging while staying at the hotel, while the public can obtain a full charge for cross-border travel between Singapore and Malaysia. Capri by Fraser will also provide attractive charging discounts for guests staying at the hotel.

This launch represents the first step in a broader rollout plan between Charge+ and SKS Group, with four additional charging sites set to be deployed across SKS-owned properties in Johor. The next site is a Charge+ charging station in SKS Mall which will be opened in early 2026. These upcoming locations will further expand fast-charging accessibility for the growing community of EV users, both domestic and Singaporean in the state of Johor.
