Minister for National Development Desmond Lee officiated the launch of Charge+ EV charging station at the HDB surface carpark of Block 728, West Coast. While surface carparks are technically challenging to implement EV chargers due to many underground services and insufficient power supply, Charge+ is pleased to have expanded our EV-ready HDB surface carparks to about 40 today. This will help to spur EV adoption in our relatively more mature housing estates where surface carparks are dominant.
